Special Series Program Titles

Since 1984, three-time Emmy-nominated ECONEWS television series has been covering an amazing range of environmental issues.

ECONEWS is produced by Educational Communications, a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization.

Each half-hour show is hosted by internationally-honored environmentalist Nancy Pearlman.

Programs may be on-location ecotourism specials, environmental documentaries,interviews with renowned experts, or pre-produced videos and films.

Now in its 29th year, ECONEWS continues to present the challenges and solutions of the ecological crisis.

There are 84 programs available on DYD from the 2300 through 2900 series. There are 509 programs from the 100 through 2200 series that are available upon request. All shows are evergreen.

ECONEWS is accessible to stations, educational institutions, libraries, and organizations free-of-charge. Individuals may also acquire copies.

Currently, stations airing shows regularly reach about 20 million homes in 21 states on 67 stations; selected shows air internationally. Each show receives multiple plays and rerun for up to four years. Most stations simulcast/stream live shows on the Internet.
